V. E. Autry, geologist and oil
producer, has announced that he is
moving his, office from Dallas,
where he has been located the past
12 years, to Abilene.
Autry is joint owner with Mrs.
Flowing Pennsylvanian oil dis-
covery has been assured at Mid-
west Oil Corp. No. 1 Scott, wildcat
10 and a half miles northeast of
Gail in Borden County.
‘ A drillstem test in the Pennsyl
vanian from 7,744-7,771 feet, with
tool open one hour, flowed oil in
32 minutes at the.rate of 20 barrels
per hour. It flowed at that rate for
the remainder of the test.
DNipe unloaded 7.000 feet of
oil and weleater. Another test was
tried from 7,7717,814 feet, but
packer failed. Operator was drill-
ing below 8,350 feet in lime at last
report.
