Advice to a Young Man.
Remember you have to work
whether you handle a pick or a pen
a wheel barrow or set of dishes
digging ditches editing a paper or
ringing an auction bell you must
work. If yon look around you will
see that the men who are the most
able to live the rest of their days
without work are the men who
work the haidest. Don’t be afraid
of killing yourself with overwork.
It is seldom done on the sunny side
of thirty. They die some times
it is because they quit work at II p
in. and don't get home until 2 a. m.
It is the wasted interval of dissipa-
tion that does them harm.
There are men who do not work
but the world is not proud of them
it does not know their names even;
it only stnply speaks of them as
“Old So-and-so's boys. Nobody
cares for them; the great busy
world doesn't know that they are
there. So find out what to be and
do and take of!' your coat and go at
it. The busier you are the less
harm you wd) get into sweet-
er will be your sleep brighter and
happier your holiday and the bet-
ter satisfied will the world be with
you.—Bob Burdette.
Protect the System from Malaria.
It Is possible to do tins even in
regions of the country where mias-
ma is most rife and where the
periodic fevers which it causes as
sunie there most formidable types
The immense popularity of Hostet-
ter's Stomach Blitters Is very
largely attributed to the fact of
Its efficacy as a remedy for chills
and fever billions remittents and
as a preventative of the various
forms of malarial disease. In those
portions of tin l west and south
where complaints of this nature
prevail and In the tropics It Is par-
ticularly esteemed for the protec-
tive Influence which It exerts; and
It has been very widely adopted as
a sidistitulc for the dangerous and
comparatively inefficient alkaloid
sulpliate of quinine. Physicians
have not been the last to concede
it* merits and the emphatic pro-
fessional indorsements which It has
received have added to Hie reputa
tlon It has obtained at home and
ol.
