Wanda Davis Syfrett of
Lampasas, Texas, died Saturday,
June 16,2001 at Scott and White
Hospital in Temple, Texas. She
was 65 years of age.
Mrs. Syfrett was born Decem-
ber 10, 1935 in Mills County,
Texas. Her parents were Bernard
Crouch "Jack" Davis and Gladys
Long Hall.
The funeral was at 10:00 a.m.
on Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at
Briggs Gamel Funeral Home
Chapel in Lampasas, Texas. Min-
ister Reid Schaub officiated at
the final rites. Interment will fol-
low at the North Brown Cem-
etery in Mills County, Texas, near
Goldthwaite.
She was a member of the Bap-
tist faith. She was a homemaker.
She married Andrew Jasper
Syfrett. He preceded her in death
on February 10,2000. She is also
preceded in death by a step-son,
Steve Syfrett and by her step-
father, Johnnie “Cobb” Hall.
She had lived in Lampasas
since February of 2001 coming
from Norway, South Carolina.
Survivors are: sons, Timothy
Syfrett ofRed Oak, Daniel Syfrett
of Conroe, Terry Clendenen of
San Antonio, and Timothy
Clendenen of Goldthwaite;
daughters, Rebecca Brown of
Morgan City and Nancy
Strickland of Red Oak; mother,
