Wolosin is Texas State Grad
Robert Ty Wolosin, a 2002 Goldthwaite High School gradu-
ate, graduated May 13,2006 from Texas State University in San
Marcos with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography, spe-
cifically GIS (Global Information Systems) Wolosin also mi-
nored in History while at Texas State.
Texas State has one of the highest ranked undergraduate pro-
grams in GIS in the United
States.
While at Texas State, Wolosin
became a member of Kappa Al-
pha Order and served as Coun-
cil of Honor Director. Wolosin
is presently touring Eastern Eu-
rope for six weeks. Upon return-
ing to the US, Wolosin will at-
tend the University of Montana
Graduate School in the fall to
continue his GIS studies. He is
the son of Janice and James Wil-
liams of Comanche, Texas and
Ken and Holly Wolosin of Taos,
New Mexico.
