Notes

Text: “Monday night. Sweetheart — No letter today - and I surely did miss it. But I must take this minute to tell you that I love you, all time! They’re still keeping us at it hard. One good thing has happened for us today — they put off our Anatomy quiz from Friday afternoon to Wed. after the holidays, so that we only have one quiz on Friday instead of two & bet it will be a good one I am already getting so excited over coming home — coming to you, to be with you, I can hardly wait. It’s real winter here now, cold as the mischief. Excuse this short note, but I’ve got to rush on down to the Scottish Rite Cathedral, then back to work. Love me, love me - ‘cause I love only you — love me a few more kisses till then, please — I promise faithfully to pay them back in full. Your Own, Felix.”
