Bible
(FROM PAGE TWO)
who claims to have created "all
things” tells mankind in the
Bible that “the Lord God form-
ed man of the dust of the
ground and breathed into his
nostrils the breath of life, and
man became a living soul”
(Genesis 2:7).
Did you ever realize that
this earth on which we live is
actually RUNNING DOWN, just
as a spring - wound watch
runs down if it is not rewound.
Even scientists admit that
there is a certain amount of
“disintegration” in matter.
Uranium (U 238) gradually dis-
integrates through many inter-
mediate stages into lead
(Pb 206). And when it deterior-
ates, there is no NEW uranium
coming into existence today.
All of us who live in the
predominately farming and ran-
ching area here in Lee County
realize that erosion of the soil
is taking place constantly —
slowly in some places and more
quickly in others.
The higher and steeper the
mountains and hillsides, the
faster they are wearing down.
The sea bottoms, river valleys
and low areas are generally
becoming higher.
This gradual “runningdown”
of this earth, which is com-
posed of matter, has estab-
lished the fact that matter must
have at some time in the past
come into existence. This

The various organizations in
Lee County will sponsor the
following contestants in the
Miss Lee County contest: Nicky
means that there must have
been a Creator.
Another definite proof that
there is a God also refutes
evolution. God says, “Let the
earth bring forth the living
creature after his kind, cattle
and creeping thing, and beast
of the earth after his kind, and
it was so. And God made the
beast of the earth after his kind,
and cattle after their kind, and
everything that creepeth upon
the earth after his Kind, and
God saw that it was good”
(Gen. 1:24-25).
There is an unchangeable law
of nature which doesn’t allow
a jump from one kind of another
in the animal kingdom.
Dogs can be bred to differ-
ent breeds of dogs, but not with
cats or other animals. And
dogs and cats aren’t slowly
developing into other types of
animals.
Although we are able to breed
and cultivate new varieties
within a great kind, they are
still of the same KIND and not
a new species of life.
God made life this way, as
we read in the above scripture.
