passed the 3,000 mark. Registrar John
M. Whiting announced this week.
The final total was 3,096 students
which is just over a 2.0 per cent
increase in last year s total of 3,026.
Whiting said most of the increase
came in the freshman class and the
graduate school. Graduate enrollment
was 500 up from 425 a year ago;
freshman enrollment was 1054 up from
1030 last year There was a slight
decrease in the senior class. Whiting
noted.

classes showed: Freshman 1054;
Sophomores 539; Juniors 478; Seniors
488; Special 40; and Graduate
Students 500.
