Lane, 11:35 a.m., While checking a
house on the department’s watch
list, a police officer was bitten by a
dog. The bite was on the officer’s
lower back. When other officers
arrived, they noted that the dog, a
yellow Labrador was limping and
growling. The dog was taken to a
veterinarian in Boerne and quaran-
tined.

400 block of Ammann Road, 1:49
a.m., A man was arrested for driv-
ing while intoxicated after being
pulled over by police. The driver
also was cited for having open con-
tainer.

10:46 a.m., A 4-year-old playing at
neighbors was run over by a car as
the driver backed out of the drive-
way. The child was taken to a San
Antonio hospital for treatment and
released.

8:46 a.m., A man was arrested for
driving while license invalid after he
was stopped for speeding. The driv-
er was also cited for no insurance
and arrested on a San Antonio war-
rant for a seat belt violation.

1:33 p.m., The driver of a Lincoln
Town Car told police that she fell
asleep and crashed through a mail-
box and struck a tree. The driver
reported her left arm was hurting
and was taken to the hospital.

torn down by a beer delivery truck.

removed from a gas station after
several people complained about
them drinking beer in the parking
lot. The men poured out their beers
and were taken to a nearby church
where they could sleep.

12:44 p.m., The manager of a store
reported the theft of some merchan-
dise.
100 block of City Park, 5:09 p.m.,
A man and woman were seen argu-
ing at the Cibolo Nature Center over
animals. The man told police he
was unaware of the city’s leash
laws.

p.m., A 32-year-old man was arrest-
ed for driving while intoxicated and
taken to the Kendall County Jail.

was standing outside of H-E-B with

said two people claiming to be

home, but the company told

the company had been sent to
the house. Police were notified
