Boerne Parks fall classes
getting off to an early start

. Some classes in the Boerne Parks and Rec-
reation Community Ed program will start
early for the Fall-Winter Session. Here’s a
.•sneak preview of what’s around the corner.
Dog & Puppy Manners classes start in the
evenings Sept. 8 and will continue through
Oct. 6. This is a week longer than last ses-
sion. Class Fees are $110. Marlene Ring
of PAWSative Solutions will instruct the
class and .give owners and their dogs an
’'opportunity to work together as a team, and
'set the stage for a rewarding and fulfilling
relationship.
Youth & adult art classes are instructed by
Susan Barnes. She introduces two Weekend
Art Workshops. The first is Saturday, Sept.
27. The Cibolo Nature Center offers an
assortment of subjects for Creative Draw-
ing in the morning and Watercolor in the
afternoon. A half-day is $50; the full day is
$100. Her five-week Creative Drawing and
Watercolor courses for $88 will start Sept.
29 at the CNC Auditorium as well.
For creative teens, Barnes will start her
five-week Teen Studio Monday, Sept. 29.

Art for Kids Class will be going on every
Wednesday in October this session. Fee is
$78.
Rosewood Yarns offers a wide variety
of classes this session. September classes
include Beginning Knitting and Crochet,
Beginning Socks, Spinning on a wheel and
How to Knit a Handbag for $35 each. All of
these classes will be held in the Rosewood
Yarns classroom at 455-B S. Main.
Later in the season classes will include
Dance, Health and Wellness, Music, Pho-
tography, Handgun Safety, Yoga and more
