raised by the Texas Commission
on Environmental Quality.
Since then commissioners have
unsuccessfully tried to find another
site to collect brush and grind it
into mulch.
Lerma proposed starting his oper-
ation at a site on Shooting Club
Road. Court members asked sev-
eral questions but took no action.
County Judge Gaylan Schroeder
said the biggest obstacle to re-
opening the brush collection and
mulching site has been finding
a suitable location and he told
Lerma that would continue to be a
major issue for court members.
In other matters taken up at yes-
terday’s meeting commissioners:
• Received a report from EMS
Administrator Jeff Fincke that
the addresses of four or five resi-
dences on the north side of SH 46
east of Boerne should be changed
to conform with new addressing
on the south side of the road that
has resulted from annexation by
the City of Boerne.

Oldest, continuous business in Boerne
Family owned and operated since 1882
Dusty and Jo Lynn met at a wedding and
were married less than 5 months later.
They have been married for almost 12 years
and have 2 wonderful, outgoing boys. The
family attends Boerne Church of Christ
and attributes everything they have to God's
grace and blessings. The family enjoys
swimming, golf, and attending the boys’
sports activities. The Fishers are so excited
and grateful to be in Boerne and to own a
family business. Everyone is involved with
the business, including the children. The
oldest son helps Jo Lynn deliver funeral
notices around town and the youngest
sometimes passes out memorial folders at
funerals. The family feels blessed to be able
to serve others in this wonderful community.
