CISCO (RNS) — A 15-year-old Cisco youth Tuesday
signed a statement admitting the Thursday slabbing
murder of Florence Hussey, 53, First Baptist Church
secretary here.
The youth, who just finished his sophomore year in
high school and had been described as an average teen- -
ager, lives in the immediate area of Mrs. Hussev’s home,
where she was beaten about the head and stabbed 14
times.
The youth's mother said Tues-
day night he had told her earlier
in the day that he was guilty of
the crime, adding that he said
he "couldn't control himself.".
She said he had been suffering
from migraine headaches through-
out the day Tuesday and had
been in a "groggy" condition
Officers related they questioned
him earlier in the day, but did
not begin taking a statement
from him until about 4 p.m. Tues-
day, when he had come out from
under effects of medicine he had
