The drives resulted from a big
increase of polio cases in Texas.
Some 150 cases have been report-
ed in the state so far this year.
One death occurred at Houston.
Dallas has recorded 17 cases.
The clinics were open during
year-old Graydon W. Cooke who
left his wife and four children.
A year ago, the state had only
33 cases of polio reported.
