What Are
the Facts?
/ There is a wise old saying that “the proof
of the pudding is the eating thereof."
We all appreciate that.
Regardless of what we say of ourselves
and of our goods and what others may say
about us and the kind of goods we carry, it
is a fact that you can better judge for yourself.
In this way you can obtain unimpeachable
evidence of what are the facts.
Our policy, our methods, our values—even
our prices—are always open and alike to all.
We invite critical inspection.

Having in mind the particular re-
quirements of the city and traveling
salesman, the doctor, the small fam-
ily and the woman in the home who
wants a small car for her own por-
sonal use, Willys-Overland, announe-
lea the production of its new Rusiness
Coupe, on its popular Overland chas-
sis, to sell at $650, f. 3. b. Toledo,
“We believe that this new car Is
the last word in convenience, roomi-
ness and all-round driving comfort,”
is the comment of W. C. Patterson
of the Hamilton-Patterson Motor Co.,
local Willys-Overland dealer on the
factory’s announcement.
I "The new car is equipped • with
doors of extra width, 31 1-1 Inches
across the opening, thus providing
for easy entrance gnd exit on eith-
hr side. The wide straight seat gives
ample room for two large people and
will accommodate three in a pinch.
"The body is built of exceptional-
ly heavy metal, sturdily reinforced
and unusual pains are taken with
the finishing operations, fourteen
being erected to insure the lasting.
I durable finish.
I 'The interior of the body is fin-
ished in durable, long grain Spanish
■ upholstery.
i ‘ The design of this car renders
available more leg and elbow room
I than in any other coupe at or near
Cverland’s price class. Inside width
of the car is only 3-1G of an inch
less than four feet. The seat cushion
is 45 1-8 inches wide. There are
I more than 15 inches between steer-
l ing wheel and back cushion.
■ "A roomy rear deck provides am-
ple room for samples and luggage
H Its hinged cover is provided with a
lock and is protected against dust
l and leaks. .
1 "In making the announcement of
■ the car to the dealer organisation
I President Willys has emphasised the
■ fact that it is particularly designed
I for sales and professional men. But
I we also believe that the car is going
I to be a boon to women motorists.
"Its short wheel base simplifies
the parking problem. Ease of
operation because of large steering
spindles and bearings, makes it an
| easy car to handle in all sorts of
I traffic. Economy of operation re-
I suits in a minimum upkeep cost.
1 "Patented Triplex Spring suspen-
1 silon gives big car riding ease be-
cause of the 136-inch spring base
11 made possible with this type of
spring. This is a great factor to
Itho man or woman who spends a
I great part of his or her time in a
I car each day, as the added relaxation
I while driving renders the driver
■ more fit for the work in hand be-
■ tween trips.
| "Nowadays with the male mem-
I bers of the family requiring the use
■ of the car during the day, there is
■ a definite need for a second car in
I a good many homes, a car that can
■ be used for shopping and visiting
I by the women folks of the home.
■ The new Coupe is ideally adapted for
1 this purpose. Ventilating windshield,
■ Dura window regulators, rear win-
1 dow curtains are little touches that
■ will appeal either to masculine or
I feminine tastes.
| "To cap the climax this new
■ Willys-Overland product is powered
■ by the bigger, new Overland engine
■ which has astonished motoring
■ circles by its ability to 'conquer the
11 steepest grades and to plow through
I axle deep sand and mud in a series
■ of the most remarkable demonstra-
■ tions held by Willys-Overland deal-
■ ers from Coast to Coast.”
