which a frenzied man tore a mother
from the breast of her five children and
then blew out his own brains was wound

chairman of the meeting. A campaign
committee of seventeen chairmen was
appointed to supervise the campaign. A

A Beaming Bell.
Jess M. Bell the genial Jeweler and
one of San Antonio's long-time and pop-
nlar business men celebrated thes3rd an-
niversary of his entrance into life yester-
day. It was a day of smiles in that
kindly home and the faces of children
and grandchildren were an index of the
happy hearts that kept holiday on that
festive occasion. The greetings were
not confined to the home group and Mr.
Bell was overwhelmed with congratula-
tions and hearty wishes for many returns
of the day. He wears his years lightly
and gives evidence of a mind at peace
within and in good fellowship with
all.
