On request of the mayor the city at-

*nlqe<-t and said the closing of the farm
wa* one of the most important things

ages on aeoiint of the sewer farm and
overflow were on file against the city
and that he believed the closing of the
farm the only remedy. He said there
was no technicality liy which the city
could get around trying these cases and
that it was merely a question of the
amount of damages which the plaintiffs
will get. Twenty cases arc ready for
trial he said a* soon as the district
courts iqien. He bclievtsl that the time
would .soon come when t’he line and cry
of the citizens about the sewer farm
would result in the courts enjoining the
city from its use. which would only give
the city a limited time to remedy the
matter in which case it i'ould harifly do
a* well a* now . He believed as far as
human power could solve the question.
