A Home Wedding.
At the home of the bride's
father in the Hookerville neigh-
borhood Wednesday evening at
8:80 o'clock, Miss Kssie Benson
Cox was united in ,the holy bonds
of wedlock to Webb Price in the
presence of a number of relatives
and a few invited guests, Rev A
S. Broaddus officiating. The
wedding was a lovely home affair
and the contracting parties are
among the best and most popu
lar young people in that com*
munity, the bride being an ac-
complished daughter "of D. O.
Cox and the groom a prosperous
young farmer of the same com
munity, both numbering their
friends by their acquaintances.
The protracted meeting at the
Methodist church is progressing
nicely and much interest is be
in*? manifested, Rev. Harbin,
who is doing the preaching, is a
forceful and interesting speaker
and is delivering some as tine
sermons as have ever been heard
from anv pulpit. If you have
not been out to hear him you
should go by all means, and you
will hear a tine sermon.
The best man we have in our
town ior the general good of the
town is the one who you will al-
ways see on the front seat in the
progressive band wagon. He is
the first one to extend an open
and warm hand to greet the
stranger and welcome him to the
best town in the state. He will
resent an insult to our town as
quickly as he would a slur at a
member of his family. He very
politely invites the chronic croak-
er to "move on." He is ever
ready to give his just proportion
to every public enterprise. He
talks up our town at home and
abroad and believes it the best
place upon God's green earth in
which to live and desires to be
buried here when he dies. Let
us all try and be like this man
for one year and our little city
will take on new life and i mo rove
as never before in its history.

TAKES THE PLACE OF
DANGEROUS CALOMEL
Ugh! Calomel makes you sick. It's horrible!
Take a dose of ihe dangerous drug tonight and
tomorrow you may lose a day's work.
Calomel is mercury or quicksilver which causes
necrosis of the bones. Calomel, when it comes in-
to contact with sour bile crashes into it, breaking
it up. This is when you feel that awful nausea
and cramping. If you are sluggish and "all
knocked out." ii your liver is torpid and bowels
constipated, or you have headache, dizziness, coated
tongue, if breath is had or stomach sour, just try a
spoonful of harmless Dodson's Liver Tone tonight.
Here's my guarantee—Go to any drug store
atid get a 50 cent bottle of Dodson's Liver Tone.
Take a spoonful and if it doesn't straighten you
right up and make you feel fine and vigorous I
want you to go back to the store and get your
money. Dodson's Liver lone is destroying the
sale of calomel because it is real liver medicine;
entirely vegetable, therefore it can not salivate or
make you sick.
I guarantee that one spoonful of Dodson's Liver
Tone will |nit your sluggish liver to work and
clean your bowels of that sour bile and constipated
waste which is clogging your system and making
you feel miserable. 1 guarantee that a bottle o£
Dodson's Liver Tone will keep your entire family
feeling fine for months. Give it to your children.
It is harmless; doesn't gripe and they like its pleas
ant taste.
