GASOLINE not approved. Insurance
companies are particular about the
fire risks they take and It is a signifi-
cant fact that they absolutely declined
to appvrove of gasoline gas lighting
plants In any building until the mak-
ers Invented a filling can which abso-
lutely could not spill a drop of the gas-
oline. Doesn't that suggest the great
risk to wnich a gasoline stove subjects
a home and its occupants* You would
feel mightly uncomfortable after an ac-

avoided the catastrophe and at the

INSURANCE Policies want tn be
watched very carefully. The mere
fact that you hold a policy is not al-
ways a sign you will have your losses
paid In case of fire. For Instance if
you should have a gasoline stove in
your bcuse without a special permit
from tbe insurance company with
said pe-mlt attached to your policy
proper you could claim no damages
for loss. The reason is that a gasoline
stove it considered a menace to a
home. Who ever heard such an objec-
tion to a gas range* A Modern Gas
Range is Just as safe as a gas light-
ing jot which a small child could op-
erate. Sold at cost by San Antonio
