The local fishing club gave
their annual fish fry on Rowland
Lake in Gun Winkler' pasture
last Wednesday. A large crowd
wtH present and a good time
was bad by all. Altogether
shout 1(H) pounds of fish was
caught, the largest being a Ger-
man carp weighing 15' • pound*.
The cucumber crop is almost
a total failure here thin year on
account of the dry weather.
