Out of Range of Religion?
Car radios become more and more popular each year.
• However, a recent experience brought one of their
: limitations to mind.
An excellent discussion was being held on an inter-
: esting subject, but with the passing of the miles, the
- broadcast got weaker and weaker. Finally it disap-
. peared, leaving only static behind. One either had to
tune in a new station or back up into the broadcast
- range of the last station.
Life is full of experiences like that. Sometimes we
run so fast and so far that we lose contact with our
family, home, house of worship and the values they
help preserve. We need these values if life is to have
L. meaning.
Many people won’t stop and go back — they merely
step on the gas and tune in to new channels.
When we begin moving too far and too fast, we
can take a tip from Religion In American Life, which
reminds us to visit a house of worship this week. Let
the things it stands for help us get tuned-in again to
the real meaning of life.

Get Dairy Animals
Ready for Shows
With fairs and other live-

corner, exhibitors should begin
getting their animals ready for
the big events, say A. M. Meek-

Of first importance is train-
ing the animals to lead and re-

the show ring as much as an an-
