Stay Out of AHot Water!
I'm here to warn people about what's hot. For instance,
Texas summers. Or, hot water. Did you know you can
get scalded by water right out
of the faucet? And, children,
the elderly or people with
special needs are especially
vulnerable.
So, never raise the
temperature setting on your
water heater. If you think it's
not right, have a plumber or
technician set it at 120°.
Also, when drawing a bath,
always run your hand through
the water to check its
temperature. If it feels even a
little hot, it could burn. So add
cold water and test it with your
: other hand.
Most importantly, never leave
a child in a bath unattended. If
you have an emergency or
leave the washing area for any
reason, take the child with you.
Your natural gas water heater will instantly provide you
with enough warm water on tap to last through everyone's
bath without adjusting the thermostat. Natural gas—the
clean, economical choice.
