DOROTHY D. MATEJOWSKY
ON SIXTH BIRTHDAY
Utile Dorothy Dale Matejowsky,
celebrated her sixth birthday last
Friday afternoon, when her moth-
er, Mrs. Harold Matejowsky en-
tertained with a party for her at
the home of Dorothy Dale's grand-
mother, Mrs. John McCowen
Eighteen little guests were pres-
ent. the group playing games and
enjoying an afternoon of fun. Fol-
lowing the play hour, refreshments
consisting of sandwiches, assorted
candies, cake and ice cream, were
served with liailoon* given as plate
favors.

before leaving for Mississippi,
where he is employed with '.he Su-

Judy, left Monday for their home
at PeLand, Florida, after spending
the past two weeks here with their
parents and grand-parents. Rev.
nnd Mrs. C. M. White. The White*
drove them to Houston where they
took the train to Del/and. T. L. is
attending Stetson University this
fall.

Sunday afternoon, September 22,
Mrs. Willie Eherhardt of Deanville
entertained a group of children
with a party, honoring her daught-
ers, Delois and La Verne, who were
celebrating their birthdays. The
youiigsters enjoyed games in the
yard.
At the conclusion of the games,
the jrucsts gathered in th • house
and sang "Happy Birthday."
Sandwiches, cakes, pies, cookies
and drinks were served to the fol-

Saturday afternoon Mr?. D. L.
Alford Jr. complimented her son,
I-ee. on his sixth birthday anni-
versary, by inviting n g'oup of
children for n play party.
\ arious outdoor games were
played, with "cowboy" games pre-
dominating. Group pictures were
taken and also scenes on the lawn
were snapped.
For refreshments the children
were assembled around the table
placed on the terrace, which had
for its central decoration, the large
white embossed birthday cake with
lighted candles. Toys for "Blowing
bubbles" were given to each child
as party favors.
The hostess cut the birthday
cake, which she served with frost-

Mrs. L. A. Baxter and Mr. J. W.
Gray.
