Christmas decorating ideas
were brought by members of the
Night Owls Extension Home-
makers Gub for their meeting
Tuesday evening. December 11,
in the home of Judy Lemons.
In addition to presenting the
decorating ideas, the members
played Christmas Bingo and had
a gift exchange.
The hostess served cinnamon
nut bread, cheese logs and
spiced tea to one guest. Chris
Scott, and to members Frances
Koch. Ruth Yarnold. Vi Thomp-
son, Evonne Moore and Exten-
sion agent Donna Brauchi.

Needle Club
Lucille Alexander was hostess
to the Friendly Needle Club for
their Christmas meeting Friday
afternoon. She played Christ-
mas carols and other songs on
the organ and told a story about
the first Christmas as seen by a
little donkey long ago.
The hostess presented each
one present with a gift, and the
club sent her a poinsettia.
Refreshments of turkey sand-
wiches. Christmas cup cakes,
cheese roll, nuts, coffee, tea and
punch were served to Vera
Morehead, Bessie Caudle.

Lois Flowers, Virginia Pundt.
Mary Hill. Virgie Davidson, and
Mamie Jordan.
Lea Guffey is hostess to Beta
Sigma Phi Christmas party
Lea Guffey was hostess to
Alpha Eta Zeta chapter of Beta
Sigma Phi for their Christmas
party Monday evening. Janice
Richter and Sue Patton assisted.
During the business meeting,
with Sandy Lyons presiding,
plans were made for gifts and a
party for the Satellite School.
Preliminary plans for the annual
Valentine Dance were discuss-
ed.
It was announced that $232.50
had been realized from the
recent auction.
Plans for assisting Catherine
Lusby with meals for her family
since the arrival of her twins
were made.
Cheta McLanahan led a
game. The remainder of the
evening was spent in visiting.
The refreshments included
cheese balls, olive sandwiches,
a strawberry dessert, crackers
and spread, and hot fruit punch.

Gail Carr, Jody Dortch, Mary
Ann Lloyd, Jan Chandler, Sandy
Lyons, Janice Richter, Donna
