trip to Bandera. He will be absent
several weeks.
Mrs. C. A. Rose and children left
yesterday for ('reed, Colorado, to join
Mr. Hose, who preceded them sev-
eral weeks ago.
Dr. W. N Scott arrived in the city
yesterday and preached at the taber-
nacle last night. The doctor is an
able minister and will organize a
Presbyterian church in this city be-
fore lie leaves.

editor of the San Antonio Express,
left for home yesterday, after having

The Alliance Convention.
On Thursday, the llith inst., there
