Seniors "Rock the Vote" at
the Legacy at Willow Bend
As the 2008 presidential elec-
tion draws near, members of The
Legacy at Willow Bend recently
gathered for a voter registration
drive organized by volunteer voter
registrars of the National Council
of Jewish Women (NCJW).
"I think it is very important
to vote no matter what your age,"
said Margaret Irvine, member of
The Legacy at Willow Bend. "If
you want things to happen in gov-
ernment that you expect, you have
to get out there and vote for your
candidate!"
As The Legacy at Willow Bend
recently celebrated its grand
opening, members updated their
address information to make sure
their vote would be counted.
The Legacy at Willow Bend,
Piano's first and only life care re-
tirement community, is situated
on a 28-acre site at Spring Creek
Parkway between Preston Road
and Ohio Drive. The Legacy at
Willow Bend offers resort-style
services and amenities for active,
independent seniors, as well as all
levels of health care services on-
site.
The community features 103
independent living apartment
homes, 12 custom independent
living villas, 40 assisted living
