got up some anti- thunder, reflect-
ing very discreditably upon Mc-
Kinney'* experience with that
measure, which has been scatter-
ed broadcast over Grayson
eountv.

cinct promptly met and drafted
an answer refuting the Muse
anti-circular.
The pro circular, which is
numerously signed by our l est
citizens, expresses regrets that
Judge Muse should ignore his
friends here who have ever taken
a great pride in him, aud asperse
them and our city, his former
home, as he has in the anti-circu-
lar alluded to.
Dr. Flinn, P. E. Denton and
a negro named Alf Miller were
arrested, Tuesday, for unlawfully
selling intoxicating drinks to Ben
Washington, colored. They were
placed under bond for ap|>ear-
ance at the October term of coun-
ty court.
