NOTHING BUT MALICIOUS LIES...
I would like to take this opportunity and answer some malicious
lies that Jose S. Hinojosa, said about me at a New Party Rally
held on the parking lot at Starr Plaza Shopping Center.
NUMBER ONE: He spoke of some receipts and some books that
were missing. Mr. Hinojosa knows very well that those were kept
in the basement in his office. He kept them in paper bags and they
were usually on top of a trash can in the basement. Undoubtedly
these were picked up by the janitors or by himself and destroyed
by accident(?). There certainly wasn't anything in those books I
wanted to hide. This was not the first time the placing of books on
top of trash cans was done, this happened before I left, despite my
reminders nothing was done to stop this practice.
NUMBER TWO: He spoke of my reports. Mr. Hinojosa knows
very well that I only copied reports as a clerk. He, as County Clerk
checked these reports and signed them himself. . . He is the
ultimate person responsible for these reports. He is the only
authorized person to rash checks and make deposits.
NUMBER THREE: He spoke of making more money now then
when I was there. This is natural. All fees have increased since I
left. Besides, as Mr. Hinojosa knows, at that time all politicians
their families and friends always got "EREE" service because
they were NEW PARTY members. I tried to help several people
who did not have the money to pay for some services, if this was
wrong then I apologize. Information concerning records was
always FREE, Now they charge for every service which was at
that time given FREE of charge. Also, more criminal cases have
been tried in Dr. Mario E. amirez' court and more fines have
been collected. And most important, while I was there, cokes,
fritos, and peanuts were not sold by the bounty Clerk's Office.
NUMBER FOUR: As for being ungrateful, I was never paid by
Mr. Jose S. Hinojosa, nor the New Party, I was being paid by the
taxpayers for doing my job as a clerk in that office. Mr. Hinojosa
has completely forgotten that I am not running for County Clerk
that Mr. Elias Aguilar is. So why attack me? Could it be that He
cannot vote against me and I can easily vote against him?
