LETTER TO THE EDITOR
flMMIllMMIWMIMra
DEAR EDITOR AND
COMMUNITY:
I have been trying to enlighten
the community for the past five
months, testing how South Texas
politics wiil stand against federal
scrutiny.
One thing I have learned from the
results that I got on the
Lease/Purchase Contract is that
there is vast information and many
legal technicalities that I could not
attempt to discuss. I have decided to
take the complete report to a
distinguished lawyer and this way
be sure that we are correct and that
there will be no inconsistencies.
All these inconsistencies come
about because of us. Our elected
leaders who should be the cure are
really the infection as has been
publicly proved over and over
again. It is the fault of we the
taxpayers for being so trusting and
not insisting on accountability. It
is the fault of all registered voters
who find one reason or another to
avoid going out to vote therefore
allowing bad public members that
are suppose to serve as a board and
not public officials to get into
office and appoint or hire friends,
compadres, amigos and cronies who
have an agenda of their own.
Why don't we spearhead any
organization into forming a good
government league, the likes of
which has never been seen in this
county. Not a committee of
politically appointed persons, but
rather a network of persons who
still fear our God and believe that
good can triumph over evil.
With God's will, next weak I
will have additionally information
to continue my search for justice
and "Juntos Venceremos".
Respectfully,
s/Dalinda Escobar

OPEN LETTER TO THE
EDITOR:
This letter is to congratulate and
encourage. The Victory Outreach,
for the job well done, during the
"Drug Free Week". Their
encouragement towards teens,
against drugs was great They took
their time to go to the public
schools, and talk to the student?
about the drug and gang problems
they had before going to the
"Victory Outreach" program.
People like this is what we need.
And also we would like for the
people to keep this persons in
mind. Remember this people from
Victory Outreach are always there
to help everyone with any kind of
help you may need, all you have to
do is go by, or call them. And you
will see for yourself, that this
people will always give you a hand
on anything. Victory Outreach is
not funded by the State, they get
donations from the people, and
are the people. So please whenever
you.see these persons, or they go
to your house and knock at your
door asking for your support
selling tickets, plates, etc.
Remember its for a good cause.
The Victory Outreach program
doesn't just help teens with drug
and gang problems, but they also
preach the word of God. Again
Congratulations "Victory
Outreach".
And remember people, if we
don't help them who will?
