I forgot to acknoled the receipt of a
copy of The McKinney Messenger thaks
Mathe fell over a stick of woods
about the 1st Jon may + hert harr hip
+ has not been able to move her right
leg since she can sit up in a chair
when helped up she suffers a great
deal of pain dont think she will ever
wald but may get over the hart so
that it will not pain her so John
married tuesday 10d ins to Miss Jane Snell
So Joe + Judy will have a mother to care

I started for Dalas Texas 29d in comp /
peny with his brother + family they
are going by private conveyance
he is sayed to be a clever man
jeweraly by trade  I never saw him
but once we are having a great deal
of rain for the last week creek rose
4 or 5 feet last nigh previous to this
season the spring has been rather dry
I was at Pos A weeke ago they were
needing rain very much especialy outs
