The Society extends our sympathy to our members, Margaret and Claude Langston,
on the passing of his mother.
MARY ONETA HOSTETTER LANGSTON
SAN ANTONIO
Mary Oneta Hostetter Langston, 97, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, in Mission Park North, San
Antonio.
Mary Oneta was born in Garvin, Okla., on Sept. 19, 1908. She married Claude M.
Langston on Aug. 8, 1927, in Dallas, and he died Dec. 12, 1977. She made her home in
San Antonio from the time of her marriage until 1979 when she moved to Plano. In
1990, she moved to San Angelo.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Alice Kirk of Paris, France, and Marilyn
Rose Gragg and her husband, Perry of San Angelo; and one son, Claude M. Langston
Jr. and his wife, Margaret of Plano. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Margo
Peterson and her husband Eric of Johnson City, Tenn., Jaimie Anderson and her
husband, Jerry of Roswell, Ga., Susan Gragg of Durham, N.C., Alan Gragg and his
wife, Diana of Coppell, Texas, Michael Gragg and his wife, Suzie of Sugar Land,
Melanie McClendon and her husband, David of Richardson, and Jeff Langston and his
wife, Barbara of McKinney; as well as five great-granddaughters.
The family thanks the staff members of Meadow Creek Nursing Center for their
loving care and assistance.
