TO OUR MANY FR!ENDS AND
CUSTOMERS !N ALTO:
We Are G!ad to Announce a Very Materia! Reduction
Our Electric Rates For AH Classes of Service
m
We want to take this opportunity to express our confidence in the
future of not only this community, but of a!! East Texas.
This confidence has been shown in the past in a very materia!
manner by our company expending great sums of money, energy,
and engineering ability to bring distribution systems to a point of
efficiency that can meeL every demand placed upon it. It has been
necessary in the course of the past few years, to practically rebuild
t-K se distribution lines in all out tewns and our generating plant has
^een entirely rebuilt, capaci! increased many times, and the most ef-
ficient and modern equipment installed. This, coupled with the
splendid co-operation and patronage of the people of East Texas, has
enabled us to effect certain economies of operation which make this
reduction possible.
The people of the community we serve have stood by us and given
us their patronage, friendship, and support, and we have tried to the
best of our ability to make our enterprise one of a human kind, and
have supported any and all civic and community movements, striv-
ing to give a square deal to everyone, and playing favorites to none.
We would be ungrateful, indeed, to do otherwise. Our organization
is composed of individuals from many states, drawn to East Texas
for various reasons and all have found a warm personal welcome
which is deeply appreciated.
Your Community is Our Comn j nity, Your Success is Our Success,
and let us hope that we all weather the present storm of uncertain-
ties together for our common goodg
