APPROPRIATIONS-GENERAL ACT
until a report showing the amount of salary being paid from other sources has been
reported to the Secretary of State.
Sec. 44. It is the intent of the Legislature that Texas institutions of higher
education spend no funds, either appropriated or unappropriated, for the purpose
of purchasing policies of insurance covering claims arising under the Texas Tort
Claims Act.
Sec. 45. The supplements shown parenthetically after line item position titles
in the agencies and institutions of higher education are intended as information
only, and it is not the intent of the Legislature that the amount shown is required
l)ayment in addition to the specific apl)ropriation, nor that sul)l)lementation is pro-
hibited in the absence of such information.
Sec. 46. Any unexpended balances remaining as of August 31, 1972 in the ap-
propriation item "Major Repairs and Rehabilitation" of any of the general aca-
demic teaching institutions are hereby reappropriated to such institutions for the
fiscal year beginning September 1, 1972 and for the same purposes.
Sec. 47. REAPPROPRIATION OF UNEXPENI)ED BALANCES. Any balances
remaining as of August 31, 1972 in the items of appropriation contained in Senate
Bill No. 11, Acts of the Sixty-second Legislature, Regular Session, as amended,
and enumerated below are reappropriated to the named schools and agencies for
the fiscal year beginning September 1, 1972 for the same purposes and are sub-
ject to the same restrictions:
