Obituary
Mr Jesse <B. Sampfeton was born in Qonzates, Te?(as on August 18,1916 to Isom and
IdaSampfeton. rJ-fe was thefifth ofsvechifdren born to this union, 9-fis parents and two
sisters preceded him in death.
Jte attended the pubtic schoot in Qonzafes. Later he moved to San Antonio where he
joined the C.C. Camp.
Jesse Sampfeton accepted Christ at an earfy age andjoined St. Joseph A. M. E. Church
in San Antonio, Texas
Throughout his fife, Jesse continued to workj finding empfoyment at 'KetfyAJ'b and the
Tost Office for a short period of time. 9te fater was emptoyed at Christian Lutheran
Church, for thirty five years, untif he retired.

Jesse and Myrtfe operated a ptace of business together for twenty-one years untif his
death.

devoted wife, Myrtfe 'J(pbinsonSampte ton; two stepsons. Lavon 'Taytor and Withe Taut
lipbinson; two sisters. Mrs Litfie Mae fryers and Mrs. EthetCobb of Qonzafes, T?c; one
brother, Qodfrey Sampfeton of Los Angefes, Catif; three grandchitdren, five great-
grandcftifdren; five nieces, two nephews; a host of refatives and friends, and a devoted
friend, Linda Ordanez.
We zviftmiss his great wisdom, his foving heart, his giving spirit, captivating smite, and
unforgetabfe sense of humor
