Calvary Baptist Church
January 12, 1984
There come3 a time for all of us
When we must say goodbye
But faith and hope and love and
Trust, can never, never die.
Whereas, it ©leased our God to call home our dear brother, Wallace
Edward Hatrell, on Sunday, January 8, 1984, we, the pastor and
members of the Calvary Eapt'ist Church, must submit to His divine.
will. Brother Harrell became a member of this church under the
leadership of Rev. E. L. Roberts, where he remained until his death.
He was a quiet man, concerned about the progress of the church. He
was regular in attendance, giving his support as long as he was able.
He was always fehe seme, easv to talk with, and will be missed in the
f e 11 w s h i o.
Be it resolved that membership will throw loving arms around the
bereaved family in comfort and support, reminding them of our sure
source of unfailing strength in Jesus. Let us share with them the
words of our Lord in St. John 14:1 - "Do not let your hearts be
troubled. Trust in God, trust also in roe." Find hope in the One who
promises to give "beauty for ashes,? joy instead of mourning; praise
ins t tad of heaviness . ** (Isaiah 61:3)
Faith sees beyond the grave,
A home of rest?
And whispers in the gloom,
wGod | s wi .11 is best."
Be it resolved that a copy of this resolution be filed in memory of the
deceased.
Respectfully submitted,
Rev. Robert Miller, Jr., Pastor
Ever Lee Kelley, Clerk
