SMITHVILLE POLICE REPORT
■ On Oct. 29, Officer
Glenn Addison arrested
Crystal Sue Gorman, 31,
of Smithville for warrants
issued by the Smithville
Municipal Court. Officers
located Gorman on Wilkes
Street and confirmed two
active warrants issued
for unpaid traffic fines,
according to the police re-
port. Gorman was booked
nto the Smithville jail.
She was fined $1,248.
■ On Oct. 31, Officer
Lynn Boydston arrest-
ed Robert Wade Scho-
bel, 19, of Smithville for
driving with an invalid
license. Officers stopped
Schobel on Short Street
and confirmed his driver's
license was suspended, re-
cords show. Schobel was
booked in the Smithville
jail and later transported
to the Bastrop County
Jail. His bond was set at
$10,000.
■ On Nov. 1, Officer
Lynn Boydston and Of-
ficer Luis Medrano ar-
rested Rene Ramirez,
31, of Smithville and Amy
Lynn Thompson-Ramirez,
28, of Smithville for theft
and public intoxication.
Rene Ramirez was also
charged with possession
of a controlled substance,
records show. Officers
report both Ramirez's
appeared intoxicated in-
side 7-11 and observed
Thompson-Ramirez con-
cealing stolen items from
the store. They were both
booked into the Smithville
Jail. Thompson-Ramirez
was fined $494. Rene
Ramirez was transported
to the Bastrop County jail.
He was fined $247 and his
bond was set at $20,000.
■ On Nov. 1, Officer Luis
Medrano arrested Jose
Angel Obiedo Hernan-
dez, 24, of Smithville for
public intoxication. Offi-
cers were dispatched to a
disturbance on Washing-
ton Street and located Her-
nandez outside, records
show. Hernandez was
booked into the Smithville
jail. He was fined $247.
■ On Nov. 4, Officer Lynn
Boydston arrested Pau-
line Yvonne Minton, 46,
of Smithville for warrants
issued by the Smithville
Municipal Court and for
driving without a driver's
license. Officers stopped
Minton on Walker Street
and confirmed active war-
rants issued for unpaid
traffic fines. Minton was
booked nto the Smithville
Jail. She was fined $786.
On Nov. 6, Officer
Lynn Boydston arrested
Stephanie Matocha,
35, of Smithville for war-
rants issued by the Smith-
ville Municipal Court, no
driver's license, and no
insurance/2nd offense. Of-
ficers located Matocha on
Lee Street and confirmed
the active warrants, police
say. Matocha was also is-
sued citations for posses-
sion of drug paraphernalia,
open container of alcohol,
and expired registration.
Matocha was booked into
the Smithville jail and later
transported to the Bastrop
County jail. She was fined
$786 and her bond was set
at $2,000.

ner for the football team which they are donating to the school. The girls would like to thank everyone who helped

and the array of other

taxpayers. Comptrol-
