qualities of the food and/or diet*tio value of Texas

"Section 2. That beosuse the oitrus fruits grwin
in Texas comprise the major agricultural orop of the
Rio Grande Valley section of the State of Texas, as
*11l as a major agricultural crop of the entire State
of Texas, and the business of expanding the markets
and increasing consumption of citrus fruits is of
public interest and beeause this At is designed to
promote the general welfare of the Texas citrus Industry,
which in turn vill promote the general welfare of the
State of Texas, this Act is passed.
Seootion 3. That as used in this Aatt
1. The ter a Oonission" means the Texas Citrus
Commission.
2. The term "person" means individual, partnership,
corporation, association ad/or any other business unit.
3. The term grapefruit" means and includes only
the fruit Citrus Grandis, Osbeok, commonly called
grapefruit, grown n the State of Texas.
4. The term "oranges' neans and inolrdes only the
fruit Cirus Sinensals, Osbeok, commonly filed oranges,
grown in the State of Texas.
5. 'Shipment of cttrus fruits shall be deemed to
take place when the grapefruit and oranges are loaded,
within the State of Texas, in the oar, boat, track or
other conveyance in whiev t the altrus fruits are to be
transported for sale or otervwise.
6. The term "deler means and inoludes any person
engaged in the business of buying, receiving or selling
citrus fruits for profit or remaneration.
7. The term chandler' aeas and includes any person
handling citrus fruits in the primary channel of trade.
8. Citrus fruits shall be deemed to be delivered
into the primary channel of trade when any snch eitrus
fruit are sold, ordelivered for shiorent, or delivered
for canning and/or processing into by-produ@ts.
9. The term standardd packed box' means 1-3/8 bushels
of citrus fruit whether in bulk or in oontainere.
