Pictured above is the attractive interior of the Automatic Laundry, 5th and Pecan streets. R. S. Lewis, owner, designed
the modern laundry to even eliminate the necessity of stooping to load the machines, as shown by the elevated base of the
machines. All pipes and disposal units are concealed and all fixtures, machines and even the inlaid linoleum floors are spotlessly
clean at all times. The Automatic Way is the ultra-modern laundry service that is now being offered in Sweetwater. (Photo

Old Venetian Blinds May Be
Rebuilt Like New At Airolite
Old Venetian blinds may be
completely rebuilt and made as
good as new, according to Amon
Watson and E. E. Roy, owners
of Airolite Venetian Blind Com-
pany here. "When Venetian
blinds are worn, soiled or dam-
aged, it is no sign that there
isn't still many years good ser-
vice," they explained.
Venetian blinds may be com-
pletely rebuilt or repaired in-
cluding new tapes, new cords,
new slats or even new mechan-
ical fixtures. Tapes may be
changed for harmonizing colors
to match any room. There are
now 15 different type colors
available to add life and beauty
to the shade and blend into the
room color scheme.
If slats are damaged or brok-
en, new slats may be substi-
tuted and the entire blind may
be repainted and refinlshed.
Mechanical fixtures may be re- 9
placed with the newest develop-
ed units that make operation
easier. The new Unitl.lt Ve-
netian blind mechanical fix-
ture is mechanically perfect,
remarkably simple, always lub-
ricated and unusually powerful.
The Unitilt is also available in
various pastel shades to har-
monize with the color scheme.
"We will go out and take the
blinds down, rebuild or repair.
and then reinstall them," the
Venetian Blind manufacturers
explained. "A call at our office
or telephone 3214, is all that is
necessary for a free estimate
on the low cost," it was empha-
sized.
