Tusks For Pigging

more in the manner of tools than
of weapons. They use them for

I down trees. The tusks of old ele-
I phants show much wear from
'digging.

Impounded By Customs
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla„
Aug. 27. (UP)—Four A-20 attack
bombers, camouflaged for desert
fighting and allegedly bound for
Israeli Forces in Palestine, were
impounded here by U. S. Cus-
toms officials.
Chester A. Emerick, supervis-
ing customs official, said the
planes were ferried here from
Tulsa. Okla., and had been de-
tained since Friday for lack of
export licenses.
He said no arrests were made
although the owner of the planes
was known to his department.
The owner had exported three
B-17 bombers to Palestine via the
Azores and Czechoslovakia last
June, he said.
