Its It resolved by the legislature of
the State of Texas:
Section 1. That at the next general
election or the State of Texas for the
election of State officers or at a pre-
vious general election In case a gen-
eral election for the State
shall he sooner ordered by the Gover-
nor for other purposes there shall be
submitted to the electors of the State
of Texas for their adoption or re-
lection the following amendment to
the constitution of the Bute of Tex-
