Saturday was the hip club picnic
day but only a few families reached
town before the rain. However

filled baskets and a bountiful dinno
was enjoyed in the court house. Ir
the afternoon Mrs. B:irno District
Agent addressed the women and
pirls in the justice court room. Mr.
Barnes discussed in an interesting
way the question of exhibits ex-
pluininp the women's part in the Pal-
las Fair exhibit this year. She also
discussed several other phases of th
Home Demonstration work.

an annual affair in the county club

charged from the famous 90lb divis-
ion were given their papers Monday
morning at Camp Travis. Three
Terry County boys A. R. Lee and J.
M. Telford and C. T. Henderson ar-
rived here Wednesday morning en-
route home. These boys while in
France w.-e in lv.La.ched service be-
ing Military Police and did not have
to participate in the parades that
boys who were in regular service
with the division did and that reason
