COLORADO CITY — A S30,-
000 grant for preliminary plan-
ning on a 75-unit public housing
project in Colorado City has
i.een announced by Washing-
ton authorities.
Harold Bennett, chairman of
the local housing authority, has
been adviseo mat the grant calls
for a two year program with -R)
units authorized for the first
year.
The preliminary loan, to Ixj re-
paid from revenues over the
years from the housing project
itself, is for acquiring land, em-
ploying an architect, and other
planning ^'penses.
The site ,or the project which
is intended to lake care of low-

been selected.

MODEL PLANE MEKT
WASHINGTON (UP) — The
national model airplane meet
will be held at Dallas, naval air
station July 25 to 30, the de-
fense department reported..
Last year's meet, sponsored
by the National Exchange Clubs
and held at Olathe, Kans., naval
air station, attracted 1,200 con-
testants and 80,000 spectators.

ter at his school, said, "It is no
great secret that Russia, Great

gen bomb is just another kind of

voters have approved a 550-unit
housing project costing $-1,500.-
000, to be financed by a loan un-
