THEY WILL BE OUR GUESTS
A dttCHiItt ago st'wntl prominent local woniBii liwd h
dream—u dream that .Home day HorKtr would be i h
host ens city to one ol the largest annual conlerheld
in this Panhandle country the yearly Pandit-Peat'her
conclave.
And in two weeks" lime this dream that, has been
visualized for years, will come true. Over HOO persons from
the 26 counties which make lip district No. H are expected
to invadv our city- Speakers will come trom as tar Last
as Washington, I). front as rir -oiilh as Austin, trom
New Mexico and from Oklajiotnn Panhandle.
It is the duty of each Parent-Teacher member and
individual citizen to extend to these visiting delegates
the warmest and friendliest of greetings- It should be
considered a privilege to offer u room in your home in
whiljh to house these quests.
Were it not for the local Parent Teacher associutions
youii.Johnny ami Betty could not have had as many advan-
ta>.'Os and privileges tney enjoy today, such as more and
lietl.f r playground equipment, bigger libraries, moving
picture machines, to say nothing of the man> underprivj-
iegtgl youngsters that have been cared for by these fast-
growing associations.
Parent-Teacher members practice cooperation in
every phase of their work, realizing thai children of today
fashion the society of tomorrow.
Through the City Council they purpose and plan
together, harmonizing differences knowing their aims
are the same—the welfare, security, and happiness of
ALL children.
The Parent-Teacher association is not a social organ-
ization—one of its main objects is to promote the welfare
of children and youth in home, school, church and com-
munity. It's policies are non-commercial, non-partisan,
lion-secret arian.
When these prominent men and women, representing
homes, schools, churches and communities, gather here
for their two day conference on April 19-20 feel that they
are your guests and put yourself out a little to do your
paA to entertain them. "
Remember, they are endeavoring by cooperation to
reach the goals of justice in scrvicet-by striving to set their
children as well as y? :rs, on t/r.* road to peace and hap-
I tineas.

CONOCO GERM
PROCESSED OIL
from ibur Mileage Merchant
ay be any stntion would have >11
that's al least of the right Summer grade
.. . let's say No. 20, No. 30, or No. 40.
And possibly anyone would know your
right nmoant—5 or 6 or more quarts.
But it takes the Conoco station—it
tnkes Your Miloair Merchant—to
give your engine the oil-change that
brings you the plus oi' oil-pi mini; , . .
at an everyday price.
You must choosc patented Conoco
Germ Processed oil to know that the
engine parts—as if "magnetized"—will
attract and hold a shield of ou - plating.
This shields and smooths the bearings,
piston rings and cylinder walls—bottom
to top of your engine. Like the chrom-
ium plating that shields and smooths the
bumpers, oil-plating holds ever fast..,
it's drain proof... never leaves a precious
part naked to friction, during all your
thousands of starts and thousands of
miles this Summer. You'll see your heat
indicator staying down safely; you'll sec
your Conoco Germ Processed oil stay-
ing up economically. Then see Your
Mileage Merchant Uxlay for the plus of
oil-plating. Continental Oil Company
