Parents living nt a distance who wish to patronize
the High School can obtain good boarding accommo-
dation for their childron in town nt moderate rates.
The principal is very anxious 'io obtain advanced
scholars; bis special ntteution will be given to boys
preparing for a collegiate course and he will fit them
for the sophomore class of any college in the country.

THE last Saturday in August has been agreed upon
as the mo6t appropria'e day for the teacher's
meeting by the undersigned. All the teachers of the
county are respectfully requested to attend as business
of great importance to the general cause of education
will then be disonssed. The objects of the meeting
will be to adopt some unifbrm system of text books
for common schools and for the purpose of forming
a permanent Tc&cher's Association.
