TIME EXTENDED
For Teams Engaged In Interna-
tional Traffic.
The Mexican government on peti-
tion of Norton Cbase attorney for the
Cananea Consolidated Copper com
pany yesterday issued an important
order in regard to interchange traffic
between the two countries.
Heretofore the rule has been that
teams under bond engaged In hauling
supplies between the two countries
have been allowed to remain In the
republic of Mexico only eight days.
Mr Chase applied to the government
to lengthen this time as it was most
Inconvenient and expensive to bis
company to do the hauling in such a
short time.
QTh order now allows the teams to
remain In the country for thirty days
or less. The saving in the case of the
copper company alone will amount to
fifteen to twenty dollars per day and
it Is not possible to estimate the
saving which will be effected by the
hundreds of private teams which
trade between the two countries.
The Masonic Temple.
T. A. Wlnterrowd the Tndiadapolis
architect is expected here In a few
days when something more definite
will be made known about the new
Masonic Temple.
Mr. Wlnterrowd will be accompa-
nied by bis wife and they will spend
sometime at Cloudcroft before return-
ing to the Hoosler capital.
Wilson Acquitted..
Tom Wilson was yesterday after-
noon acquitted of the charge of theft
from Dereon in the district court. It
was charged that he took a watch and
other jawelry from Joeoh A. Shanks
while toe latter was drunk. He claim-
ed that Shanks had given him the
watch to pawn in order that they
might fu ther continue in drinking
bout In which they ware engaged.
