Blstant District Attorney Ford pro-
duced code telegrams from Lee Rap-
port attorney for the RriiUe and
Iron Workers at Indianapolis asking
Darrow If he could upend a thousand
dollars for a certain purpose also a
telegram from Harrow telllnR Rap-
port that he could use the money.
The pronerutluc attorney asked
Darrow to Identify the code tele-
grams. Harrow tiaid that he nileht
If they were translated for hlni.
Then Ford ami red Blackford who
translated the telegrams for Darrow
In open court. Darrow admitted au-
thorship of the one code mesaare and
receipt of one from Rapport and ex-
plained that code messages succeeded
correspondence by letter Between
himself and Rapport.
The Darrow case Is expected to go
to the Jury thin week.
