ALBANY. N. Y.. Aug. 16 A n aimed truce over Sunday is
the present situation in the fight foi the Kovemoisliip of New York.
Both Governor Suler and Lieutenant Governor Glynn as acting
governor aigned official papers during the rliy. Apart from this
the only skirmish was the issuing !y Suler if a rrply to Glvnn's lr-
ilin.ition of the suggestion that their deferences l.e taken at once lo
court.
Suler drplores Glynn's decimation pointing out that it tn.li-
ul.ly will lend to trouble and Itigation.
Glynn left his office on the third floor of the capitol eurly in the
afternoon but Suler remained throughout the day.
Mrs. Suler who is suffering from a nervous breakdown spent n
quiet afternoon and is reported as resting more comfortably to-
night. Her temperature is given out at 1 02 1-2 degrees.
