Any unexpended balances as of August 31, 1971, in Items 7 and 8 for
the Aeronautics Commission in the General Appropriations made by the
Sixty-first Legislature, Second Called Session (House Pill No. 2), are
hereby reappropriated for the biennium beginning September 1, 1971, for
the purposes stated in said Items.
In addition to the amounts appropriated in Item 10 above for acqui-
sition, construction, maintenance, improvement, survey or soil analysis
of airstrips, airports, and other air navigational facilities, there is
hereby appropriated $200,000 in each year of the biennium beginning
September 1, 1971 from the General Revenue Fund. Provided however, if
the Sixty-second Legislature should enact legislation which would alter
or remove the refund provision on aviation fuel tax, an amount not to
exceed $400,000 per year is hereby appropriated from the Aircraft Fuel
Tax Fund for the same purposes and in addition to Item 10 above. Such
appropriations from the Aircraft Fuel Tax Fund which may result from the
provisions of this paragraph shall be in lieu of the General Revenue
appropriation provided for in this paragraph.
