Dr. Siddon, who limits his practice to internal medicine
and diagnosis, served in the medical corps from 1942-1946. He
received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee
in 1941 and completed his internship in internal medicine
at the University Hospital in Little Rock.
Dr. Swickard, who will confine his practice to surgery,
gynecology and obstetrics, came to Orange in 1946 with the
DuPont Company and has been in private practice here three
years. He was graduated from the Ohio University College of
Medicine in 1931 and has done post graduate work at the Cook
County Graduate School of Medicine in Chicago.
During the war he was with Du Pont on their atomic bomb
projects at Oak Ridge, Tenn. and Hanford, Wash.
Dr. Schlies, a pediatrician, at the present time, is
senior resident in his field at the Cook County Children's
Hospital, Chicago. He will complete his service and requisites
for certification as a diplomate of the American Board of
Pediatrics in July of this year,at which time he expects to
join the local group.
He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College
of the University of Chicago in 1942. Dr. Schlies also is a
veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy from June, 1944 to
July, 1946.
Mrs. Nash is a graduate of the Kahler School of Nursing,
Mayo Foundation. Rochester, Minn. where she received a scholar-
ship in surgery from Doctors Charles and Will Mayo. She was
employed as a Civil Service nurse at Camp Abbott, Ore. and
later worked for the Phelps-Dodge Corp., Mosi, Ariz. where she
had charge of the operating room.
She also was employed by DuPont as operating room super-
visor at Hanford, Wash. She taught operating room technique
to students at St. Luke Hospcitall, Duluth, Minn. and worked
in the operating room at both Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
and Harper Hospital, Detroit.
Jones was formerly a cost accountant for the Construction
Division of DuPont. Prior to that time he was payroll super-
visor and paymaster at Consolidated Steel Corp, Shipbuilding
Division in Orange. He is a graduate of Port Arthur Business
College and studed accounting with La Salle Extension University.
