of tho liank and Trust Company will
bo segregated at an early date At
present tho combined capital and
surplus of the State Dank nid Trust
Company Is $230000 which will bo
divided equally giving the First State
Dank of Abilene a capital of $100000
and surplus of $15000.00 and tho
Trust Company an equal amount.
Under the now arrangement the of-
ficers nnd directors of tho First Stalo
Dank and Trust Company feel that
tho institution will bo In much hotter
position to servo Its patrons nnd the
peoplo of Central West Texas. Tho
bank will bo kilovn as tho First
Stato Dank of Abilene and will do n
commercial business strictly under
tho guarantco laws of tho stato ac-
cepting botli commercial and snUngs
deposits making no long term lonuu
