dain a wealthy rcsldont of Chicago
was nriested by n United States mar
shal today and arraigned before Uni-
ted States Commissioner Shields on
a warrant issued by tho Federal courts
of Chicago. He wan locked up. Gour-
daln.was arrested In Chicago recently
charged with complicity In a green
goods swindle He was convicted but
appealed and tho appeal Is still pend-
ing. The convicted man wished to
servo his sentence pending tho appeal
