is to eliminate the undesirable

applied for credit with a local mer-
chant is rated- These ratings run
from "Prompt pay good credit' on
down through various grades to
"Require Cash" which is self-explanatory

ing is accessible lo every merchant
in the city. When you apply for
credit that rating is looked up and
wh'cther you get that credit or not
depends entirely upon whether you
have been paying your bills or not.
